Provide learners with the critical tools they need to tackle life's hurdles and prospects with assurance. By placing importance on Cognitive Skills, Interpersonal Abilities, and Emotional Management, we boost students to cultivate resilience, compassion, and problem-solving capacities. In order to bring practical scenarios into the learning environment, we employ a plethora of interesting strategies, like debates, movie viewings, and interactive activities.

The Programme encourages students to thoughtfully choose and adhere to a set of values that is appropriate to and best reflects the challenges of their time, rather than preaching values and imposing them on them. The sessions and activities are designed to promote independent moral reasoning and support discussions about moral dilemmas and crisis, from which students can develop an enduring and meaningful set of values. The Programme deals with a wide variety of themes of social significance through creative approaches and activities.

The outreach involves leading awareness campaigns, visits to old age homes, orphanages, deaf & mute centers, eco-sustainability drives etc. Our students learn early on, the importance of developing the spirit of giving back to society and reaching out to those less privileged and that are marginalized. Community Outreach activities and projects develop leadership, resilience, empathy and service-mindedness is our students. To this end, our school regularly associates with NGOs, charities, social workers and causes, to provide our students bigger platforms to make a real difference.

Sports Education Programme
Our Sports Education Program (SEP) integrates sports into our curriculum. SEP focuses on developing knowledge, attitudes, and skills related to physical activities. We aim to encourage students to:
Learn about body control and spatial awareness
Master new sports skills and techniques
Recognize the importance of fair play and sportsmanship
Understand how strategies can improve performance
Cooperate with others in group or team activities
Use proper safety precautions
We offer various sports like swimming, basketball, football, and more. Students also participate in recreational programs like aerobics, yoga, and athletics.

As a school, we wish to broaden learning horizons so that students can connect the outside world to their experiences in school. Each club in school tries to provide these enrichment activities in their own way. Clubs are perhaps one of the most anticipated programmes at DIS.

This association fosters an appreciation for linguistic art, fosters literary pursuits and events within the university landscape, and propels scholars to scrutinize reading and writing viewpoints. The club's core is composed of inventive self-expression, the conveyance of concepts through verbal creativity, and artistic partnerships that refine the students' self-assuredness.

Through the performative mediums of dance, drama and theatre, the club fuses performative elements to nurture a love for active expression in the students. Narrative dance forms, plays, and performances are given original interpretations through the club. The Club is open to contemporary, classical and Western performative modes and trains students to excel in the form of their choice.

DIS nurtures students who are musically inclined through this club. Besides accommodating and cultivating a diverse range of musical tastes, the club also provides voice coaching, sessions in musical notation, and opportunities to learn to play instruments and compose original scores.
